PostSubject: Verizon Web Book Review.   Mon Oct 17, 2011 3:05 pm

With net books, notebook computers, and mini's being extremely popular these days, Verizon not too long ago launched a $199 HP . P . Mini1151 NR Broadband 10. 1 inch Notebook which is buzzing all the laptop or computer circles, and saturating that T. V. ad patches.

After a few several weeks of searching, reading ratings, looking at specs, statistics, performance, dimensions and everything else due to the available colors and lastly, price, I have found (and purchased) the best notebook that you can purchase for the money.

To start with, the Verizon Mini is $199 if you signal a 2 year company contract for:

$39. 99 month to month access for 250 MB reoccurring allowance and 10 pennies per megabyte overage, for anyone that:

* Need a transportable connection 7-8 hours four weeks
(a month? I need that your chosen day! )
* Send out or receive email with the help of small or no accessories
* Light Web Surfing
* Download or post small files
* Download a song or two occasionally (? )

or
$59. 99 monthly access using a 5 GB monthly money and 5 cents for every megabyte overage, for individuals who:

* Need a constant mobile connection
* Send out or receive email with the help of large attachments
* Download or upload large files for instance photos
* Need frequent usage of Web sites
* Down load music occasionally

Without the two year agreement, the computer costs $599!

However, minus the 2 year agreement, you then have the option of purchasing a day pass if you happen to:

* Want the pliability of using Mobile Broadband without getting a long-term commitment
* Only need broadband data access occasionally
* Cost is $15 each and every day (per 24 hr period) How a lot of those do you think you'll rack up inside a year? Just 5 days monthly is $75!

They don't offer an unlimited monthly insurance policy for mobile broadband, you secure an "allowance", and you can find overage charges if you exceed your monthly "allowance"... a bad deal for the common to heavy user, and even the casual one that won't want to ration their own internet time.

Verizon's Netbook computer and 3G Network Poor Freedom and Versatility
Competition Already Launching Worldwide 4G WIMAX
Next: The Verizon notebook boasts 3G access around the Verizon network. The problem one of the keys is.... Verizon is trailing behind other companies like Sprint, Clear and many more who are already going out their 4G cpa affiliate networks worldwide, otherwise known as WIMAX (which would mean Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) that offers higher speeds and larger coverage areas.

Third: The item description plainly states the fact that the notebook can only double with a compatible service plan plan, kind of like how some mobile phone handsets can only be attached to the network that you purchased them for.... so this laptop will surely work (access the internet) just have a Verizon program plan?

Is There a more suitable Alternative?
I really choose a mini notebook yet as always, this was a little too good to be correct. What do I perform now?
After a weeks of searching, reading ratings, looking at specs, statistics, performance, dimensions and everything else due to the available colors and lastly, price, I have found (and purchased) the best notebook that you can purchase for the money.

Acer, the business that owns Gateway, Packard-Bell, and E-machines is in charge of the mini notebook market place and Verizon's latest notebook offering pales when compared to the Acer Aspire 1 11. 6 inch Computer.
I already own 3 big screen monitors from Acer, therefore i was already familiar by their quality.

Having read many reviews (0ver 300) with the smaller model (Aspire One particular 10. 1), I opted to look for the new model the Acer Aspire A single 11. 6 Notebook.
Compare The 2 and Decide For Oneself

ALRIGHT, Sounds Good! Where May i get One?
I uncovered the Aspire One 11. 6 " Netbook on Amazon for the purpose of $329,
There is additionally the Acer Aspire A single 10. 1 for $319
As well as the Acer Aspire One 8. 9 Netbook computer for $309

All have 160 GB Hard disk drive and 1 GB RAM plus with varying battery solutions from 3-6 cell. (3-8 Hrs of battery life)

In comparison to $599 for the Verizon pocket book (without a 2 calendar year contract) with less reminiscence, a smaller screen, a smaller amount resolution, or $199 using a 2 year service contract however only works on the particular Verizon Network.

Or that Verizon Dell mini (also by means of 10" display) that begins at $399! (service deal still required).

Some within the Aspire models are Orange Tooth ready. The model which i purchased ($329) was not necessarily, which I rectified by using a $19 Blue Tooth HARDWARE adapter ( I've seen them as little as $3. 00, and if you happen to buy a Blue the teeth mouse anyway, you already have the adapter), so that I don't need tie the USB ports with peripherals, which usually also makes my bit Acer Notebook Wifi, WIMAX, and also Bluetooth network ready.

My partner and i Purchased the Acer Want One 11. 6 " Netbook
I got the Azure Sapphire One and Couldn't be Happier using it!
I have had my own Aspire One AO751h around 2 weeks now (I bought the Sapphire Blue) in addition to I couldn't be happier and May very well already road tested it in the local coffee shops and several other places around town and still have gotten rave reviews out of total strangers ( exactly who always ask, "Is the Verizon one? I was thinking bout getting one particular. ") which inevitably ultimately ends up with me discussing the differences amongst the two while people low fat over my shoulder like Freezing purchased a new dog, or are showing off pictures belonging to the kids to the family.

Being a Sprint customers, I already had a fabulous Sprint Broadband USB credit card ($49. 99 unlimited from the way), but I am liberal to use what ever I choose to the life of your Notebook, it is not pre-installed with most things will lock me towards a contract.

Comparing the couple of, I just think of the fact that Verizon HP, or Verizon Dell notebooks are much. They look great once you see them on To. V., but upon deeper investigation, they aren't stocked nearly plus the Acers, nor do they feature the freedom. It's one thing undertake a phone that is to a network, but much more thing I wanted was broaden tied to one.

I think, you can certainly do a lot better than the Verizon model and Now i'm very happy with this Acer Aspire Series.
